Steven Kelly Waller, Sr., age 54, of Newport, Ky., died Monday, June 14, 2010, at his Residence.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Dorothy Morris and Sister Ruth Phillips.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Waller;

CALIFORNIA–Harold W. Steffen, Sr., 75, died Monday, June 14, at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.
He was a general contractor, owner of Harold W. Steffen & Sons and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Kavanaugh Steffen of California; daughters, Pauline Joplin of Texas, Michelle Cobb of Kodak, Tenn., Kathleen Hafer of Spring City, Tenn., and Amy Horvath of Fort Thomas; step-daughter, Beverly Wagner of Alexandria; sons, Harold W. Steffen, Jr. and Jeffrey Steffen, both of Alexandria, Christopher Steffen of Park City, Ky., Anthony Steffen of Melbourne and Phillip Steffen of Highland Heights; step-son, Thomas Ice of Alexandria; sisters, Dorothy Kool of California and Mary Allender of Highland Heights; brother, Pete Steffen of Alexandria; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Timothy "Gene" McNamara


Timothy "Gene" McNamara, age 79, of Alexandria, Ky., died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at home.
Mr. McNamara was born born January 25, 1932 in Lexington, KY son of the late Timothy E. & Elizabeth (nee Malone) McNamara.
Mr. McNamara was a retired employe by Interstate Brands.after 31 yrs. & he also worked at A. J. Jolly Park for 19 yrs. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He also was a member of Teamsters Local 100 Cincinnati, OH.

Shirley Harker


ALEXANDRIA - Shirley Ann Harker, 81, of Louisville, formerly of Alexandria, died June 6 at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville.
Her son, Keith Harker, died previously.

Survivors include her sons, Phillip Harker of Andover, Mass. and Steven Harker of Shelbyville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Alexandria Cemetery. The address to the cemetery is 7 Spillman Alexandria, KY 41001. Alexandria Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Viola Geiger


CALIFORNIA, Ky. - Viola Mary Lauer Geiger, 86, died June 4 at her daughter's home in California. She was a homemaker, member of Women Who Care, Catholic Order of Foresters Court 1492 and Senior Group, all at Saints Peter & Paul Church California.

Her husband, Joseph Geiger, died in 1994.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Levo of Florence, Sister Pamela Geiger S.N.D. of Bellevue, Gail S. Brossart and Sheri Hartman of California; sons, Victor Geiger of Elsmere, Joseph E. Geiger of Cranston, R.I., Patrick Geiger of Melbourne,Gary L. Geiger of Cincinnati, Stanley J. and Jack Geiger of California; sisters, Helen Kremer of Melbourne, Jean Rawe of Seminole, Fla., Mary Jo Steffen and Jane Overberg of Alexandria; brother, Erwin Lauer of Fort Thomas; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Walter Cylkouski

Walter Cylkouski, age 81, of Newport, Ky., died Thursday, June 3, 2010, at his residence. He was a former insurance salesman for Western Southern and also a former detective with the Newport Police Department. He served in both WWII and in the Korean War. He was an avid Trap Shooter, and loved football and horses.

He is survived by his fiance Edwina Heringer of Newport; and two nieces and one nephew.
Memorial Visitation June 20th at the Lawler Hanlon VFW Post in Newport from 2pm to 5pm.
