Clara Burkhardt

Clara (Brossart) Burkhardt, age 87, of California, Ky., died Monday, August 9, 2010, at Saint Elizabeth in Fort Thomas, Ky. She was a farmer, member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, California, KY. She was an avid crafter, pine needle baskets were a specialty. Loved flowers, and she loved collecting knick knacks from all the garage sales she enjoyed going to.

She is survived by her husband of 62 yrs Louis Burkhardt; Sister- Vera Kearns of California, Ky.;
Brothers, Buddy and Ray Brossart both of Alexandria, Ky.; Many nieces and nephews.

Dennis M. Kuss, 64, died Saturday at his home.
His wife, Regina Kuss, died previously.

Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Pollitt of Dry Ridge; a son, Dennis Kuss of Falmouth; three sisters, Susan Massey of Covington, Nancy Clair of Ludlow and Gloria McDaniels of Southgate; three brothers, Randy Kuss and Gary Kuss, both of California, Ky., and Glenn Kuss of Falmouth, Ky.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Alexandria Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Marie Hart LeMaster

Marie (Hart) LeMaster, age 89, of California, Ky., died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at the Hospice of the Bluegrass Care Center in Fort Thomas, Ky.
She was a homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband the late
William B. LeMaster, Sr.; three children, the late Matthew LeMaster, the late William B. LeMaster Jr., and th late Marie Renee LeMaster.

Survivors include:

AND HEIGHTS - Edward Shelton, 72, died Aug. 4 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.
He was active with the Gideon's International.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Shelton; daughter, Cheryl Curry of Alexandria; son, Jeff Shelton of Butler; brother, Richard Shelton and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, with service following at Immanuel Baptist Church, Cold Spring. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery. Alexandria Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
