Charles "Todd" Sherlock, age 63, of Alexandria, KY, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Todd worked for W.R. Grace for 25 years, served for the volenteer fire department in Silver Grove for many years. He was preceded in death by his sister Irene Hogle and two brothers, Richard and Edward Sherlock. Thurla A. (Click) Ramey went to be with the Lord Friday, December 16, 2011 from her home in Alexandria, KY., at the age of 93. She was born November 16, 1918, to the late James B. and Lula (Prater) Click, at Langley, in Floyd County, KY. She was the youngest of three children. She was a graduate of Maytown High School, in 1937, and of the Tri-state School of Cosmetology, Portsmouth, OH, where she met and married George Howard Ramey, February 6, 1938, they lived there until Howard joined the Navy October 11, 1943, after which she and their young son moved to Maytown, Floyd County, KY. There she helped in the family grocery store. She was a member of ADAH Chapter 24 of the Eastern Star Prestonburg, KY. and of the First Baptist Church Maytown, KY. She also worked for a government health program for three years. When they retired they lived in Belleview, Florida until they moved to Alexandria, KY., where they lived until death. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, a brother, Thurmal Click & a sister, Theckla Reffett. She is Survived by two sons, Glen N. Ramey & Stanley Vernon (Diane) Ramey; One grandson, Timothy Wayne (Mona) Ramey; Two granddaughters Allison Jewell and Alysa Jade Ramey. Jacqueline Waldemeyer Hofstetter, age 67, of Grant’s Lick, KY, lost her year long battle with brain cancer on November 6, 2011. She is survived by her husband Robert, her 3 daughters, Phila (Joey) Jackson of Killeen TX, Beverly (Jerry) Klein, Alexandria KY, and Robin Hofstetter and her partner Esther Urick of Covington KY. Grandchildren, Micheal Hofstetter, Shawnette Simmons, Alex Klein and Maggie Klein. Great Grandchildren, Chantz Curtis, Blake Hofstetter and Jaxon Simmons. Brother, Bill (Joan) Waldemeyer. Several brother/sister in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Jackie was born April 3, 1944 and the daughter of the late Mary Gosney and Sam Gray. She loved her employment and friends at Northern Kentucky University and planned for her retirement this Fall. As housekeeper and friend, she leaves the Grau, Dibert, Wendling, Kremer and Gates families. Her favorite things to do included searching out garage sales, collecting hankies and going to O’Charley’s. As an eight gallon blood donor for the Hoxworth Blood Bank, her wishes are that blood donations be given to the Hoxworth Blood Bank. As a thank you to the many local churches for their support and prayers, memorials are suggested to the local church of your choice. Weslee Scott Ashlock


Weslee Scott Ashlock, 6 weeks, of Alexandria Kentucky, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2011 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. After this strong, happy baby boy fought for six long weeks and through five difficult surgeries, little Weslee decided it was time to be free from pain. He hopes to help others through the strength of his journey, research of his condition, and donation of his tissues and organs. Our little Angel Weslee will continue to watch over our family and all families experiencing similar journeys in their lives. He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Robert Heck, Mildred Ashlock, and Garland Ashlock; paternal aunt Mikal Ashlock; maternal great grandparents, Mary Jane Fender, Robert Rebholz, and Marilyn Rebholz. Albino Cigallio


Albino Cigallio, age 88, of Alexandria, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 29th 2011, at
the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth
Cigallio , son Edward Cigallio, and brother Rudy Cigallio. He also leaves behind a daughter
in law, Glenna Cigallio and granddaughters, Sarah Cigallio and Mary Gwen Cigallio. He is
preceded in death by his son Charles Peter Cigallio.

Al served as an officer on the Destroyer Steinaker in WWII and acquired a degree in Mining
Engineering from Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan. After several successful years on the
iron ranges in Michigan, he moved to Kentucky in 1965 and became General Manager of Black
River Mine in Carntown, Kentucky. He retired in 1981 and began woodworking as a hobby. He
was an exceptional father, a brilliant engineer, a loving husband and grandfather, and our hero.
