  2. Dad,

The reality of you not being here has not set in. You were the rock. You were the one I always went to when I needed something. I admired you and respected you so much. Your ability to give without reciprocation is unmatched. I know you're up in heaven with lil Don and others and will be watching out over us. I'm so thankful for the time we were able to have and can't wait to see you again. I love you so much, Dad.
    Love,
    Fred

  3. Dad,

Where to begin? Just doesn't seem real. I keep waiting to see you come through the door. What are we going to do without your guidance, knowledge, help, advice, knowhow with everything. We can't replace that Dad. You were the hub that kept us all together. It all started with you and always ended up with you. I know you usually don't see the end coming but I know we didn't see your passing anytime soon. You seemed fine, like your usual self. You were so excited about the new house and being retired and able to finally enjoy life on your terms. You had definitely earned it and some. You had worked so hard for so long it was nice to see you be able to kick back and not have to work so hard. I know none of us could have asked for a better father and we are all grateful we were in your life. Our family was so close and I am so thankful for that. The love we all shared will help get us through this. Pam and I saw a rainbow on our way over today then a double rainbow. Couldn't help but think it was a message from you and Don telling us you guys are okay. It seemed so close and was so vivid in color. Still numb I think. Pray for us Dad. We need it. I know you are happy to be with Lil Don, your Mom and Dad and step Dad, a child you never met due to a miscarriage, Tiffs unborn child and countless other lost family, friends and loved ones but it still sucks for us. Life will never be the same without you in it. You were and always will be the best. We can't wait to see you again. In Godspeed.

    Love,
    Fred

  5. Dad,

I miss you so much. I can't believe you are not there on the other end of my phone calls any longer, or there to let me in the door of your place. You always unlocked the door prior to arrival. You were the greatest father one could ask for, ever! Any time I needed anything you could think of, you were there to help me make it happen. There wasn't anything you couldn't do. The man of so many trades. I just can't stand this. You are missed by so many and will always be remembered. I just hope one day I can be at least half the person you were. Amazing, that dad of mine. We were talking about our big plans for Lil D's birthday but I guess you wanted to surprise him with a visit. I know you are in heaven with Donny and many more. I can't wait until the day we meet again. Until that day missing you is what i will always be doing and sharing stories of how awesome and funny you were and are. I miss you Dad. I love you Dad!
    Love me always,
    Tiff

  6. My Dearest Darling Donnie,

I miss you so much. I look for you everywhere. I see you in everything I see that's beautiful to me. I love you and I always will. It's very hard to see Sonya, Fred, Clint, and Tiffany crying for their Dad. It's all so sad. You are so loved and so missed. Everyone who knows you loves you. Pat & Jackie, Tim & Kim, Ice & Pam, Randy, Dan, Janet & Jack, Pam, Lois & Bob, Clint, and I. Everyone was crying so hard at your funeral. There is such a void without you. It doesn't seem fair. I'm a widow, 4 children without a father, 3 grandchildren without a grandpa. I know God called you home. I tell myself you're at peace but oh how I miss you. I adore you. We all will never stop loving you, missing you. You're so awesome. You're the best man in all the world. You're Golden! Such a great Dad and Grandpa too.
    All my love,
    Sand
