Carol Jean Leisring

Carol Jean Leisring, 64, passed away at her home in Alexandria, KY on August 30, 2013. She was an avid Bingo player and a member of the Alexandria Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary. Carol  is survived by her husband of 44 years, Daniel Leisring; Mother, Francis Wright; sons, Daniel  Leisring II, Adam Leisring; daughter, Kimberly Gasdorf; Grandchildren, Taylor Leisring, Hunter Gasdorf, Allison Leisring, Elizabeth Leisring; brother, Randy Wright; sisters, Linda Farrar, Cindy Stricker, Janice Sharp. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, Kentucky. Robert G. Hofstetter

Robert G. Hofstetter, age 72 from Grant’s Lick passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Hofstetter on November 6, 2011.  He is survived by his 3 daughters, Phila (Joey) Jackson of Killeen TX, Beverly (Jerry) Klein, Alexandria KY, and Robin Hofstetter of Covington KY.  Grandchildren, Micheal Hofstetter, Shawnette Simmons, Alex Klein and Maggie Klein.  Great Grandchildren, Chantz Curtis, Blake Hofstetter and Jaxon Simmons.  Bob was born December 31, 1940 to the late Bill and Hilda (Kerns) Hofstetter.  Preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Eddie and Larry Hofstetter.  Survived by his two sisters, Carolyn (Steve) Hellmann and Marilyn (Frank) Gilbert.   Bob retired from NuMaid Margarine.  He was a member of the Delizards Social Club, Campbell County Bow Hunters, volunteered at the Southern Campbell Fire Department and was known for his Saturday side jobs when he butchered beef and mowed lawns.  He enjoyed hunting, coaching softball, quad riding and working on the farm.  After retirement he enjoyed painting art work.  Memorials suggested to Robert Hofstetter Memorial Fund, at any Bank of Kentucky location or mail to 9932 Barrs Branch Rd., Alexandria KY 41001. The fund will benefit the Activities Program – Liberty of Riverside Nursing Home. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29^th from 5:00-8:00 at the Alexandria Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 on Friday, August 30th at the funeral home; burial will follow at the Flour Creek Cemetery., Butler, KY.

Sondra "Sue" Wolfe

Sondra "Sue" Wolfe, 72, passed away on August 16, 2013 at River Valley Nursing Home. Sondra was preceded in death by her husband, Junior William Wolfe, and son, Terry Wayne Wolfe. she is survived by sons, Jerry Lee, and John William Wolfe; daughter, Rene Theresa Wolfe; brother, Michael Smith; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Flagg Springs Baptist Church, California, Kentucky. Memorials to River Valley Nursing Home and Hospice of Hope.

Peter Alois Steffen

Peter Alois Steffen, 81, passed away suddenly at his home in Alexandria, KY.  Peter is survived by his sons, David A Steffen, Donald Steffen (Mary Lou); daughters, Marilyn Sue Woeste (Garry), Rose Ann Steffen (Steve), Judy Griffith (Harold), Mary Lauer (Leroy), Margaret Griffith (Tony); sisters, Mary "Sis" Allender, Dorothy Kool; 11 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. David L. Daniel

David L. Daniel, 66, of Springdale, OH, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood, KY. He was a retired wealth management advisor for Marine Midland Bank. David was preceded in death by his wife, Melinda Ann Daniel (nee Meyer), and two sisters, Linda Bryant and Sandra Munninghoff. He is survived by a daughter, Alicia (Alonzo) Warner of Warrensburg, MO; a son, Bobby Daniel of Batavia, OH; two grandchildren, Alice & Alivia Warner. Donna L McCleary, 49, passed away on  August 6, 2013 at her home in Alexandria, KY. She loved her children, her husband and Jesus. Donna is survived by her loving spouse Emeric; son,  David McCleary; daughter, Elena McCleary. Charles "Charlie" Lee Hatcher

Charles “Charlie” Lee Hatcher, 90, of Alexandria, KY passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home. Charlie was a retired agent for Commonwealth Insurance; he was an Army veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict; a member and former deacon of the First Baptist Church of Highland Heights, a former member and officer of the Alexandria Fair Board, Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service, KY Livestock Improvement Association and former president of the State 4-H Leader Council. He was preceded in death by his wife Beulah Mae Hatcher. Charlie is survived by two daughters, Judith (Roger) Ihrig and Mary Beth Hatcher both of Alexandria, KY; two sons, Charles Lee Hatcher II of Milton, KY and Vaughn Hatcher of Williamsburg, KY; two sisters, Neree Wood of Columbia, SC and Jessie Sills of Rockledge, FL; one brother, John Hatcher of Brazil; eight grandchildren, Todd Ihrig, Craig Ihrig, Russell Ihrig, Charles Lee Hatcher III, Catherine Hatcher, Vaughn Hatcher II, Victoria Henderson and Aaron Linkugel; also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
