Edward White

Edward White, 87, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. Mr. White was a WW II Army Veteran, he was a home builder with Roy White & Sons. They built and operated the RECA Roller Rink in Alexandria and also built many homes in the area. He was a member of Saint Mary Seniors. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Alice White and a brother, Don White. He is survived by his wife, Armella “Rusty” White; a daughter, Lisa (Bob) Moser; 3 sons, Anthony “Fritz” (Char) White, James (Donna) White and Paul (Laura) White; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM with a Memorial Mass immediately following at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary Church, Alexandria, KY. Mr. White donated his body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saint Mary Church, 8246 E Main St., Alexandria, KY 41001 or the charity of donors choice. Alexandria Funeral Home serving the family.

  1. Among some of my favorite childhood memories were when we were invited to go skating at the recca roller rink or visit our cousins out in the "country". Uncle Ed was always so kind to all of us, and we felt extra special when he would help us skate around the rink! We were blessed to have him as an uncle!

  2. Rusty and family, you know you all have a very special place in my heart and it was not only a pleasure but also a blessing to know you and your family. I guess it was Ed that brought us together and end up friends! Thank you Ed, I know you'll watch over Rusty and the family. Love you Rusty... Michele Antrobus
