Virginia Thatcher

Virginia Thatcher (nee Allen), 95, of Hohenwald, TN, formerly of Alexandria, KY & Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away peacefully Friday, December 13, 2013 at home in Hohenwald, TN. Virginia was a retired teacher at Dale Elementary School in Highland Heights, KY and also taught in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Thatcher. Virginia is survived by her brother, Harold (Betty) Allen of Hohenwald, TN; a niece, Linda (David) Barber of Hohenwald, TN; three nephews, Mike (Lori) Allen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jim Allen and Steve Allen both of Hohenwald, TN; also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.  Visitation 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2013 with Funeral Service following at 1:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington Street, Alexandria, KY. Interment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery. Online
