Kristen Renee Hardy, 32, of Grant's Lick, KY, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Newport, KY. Kristen worked mainly in construction, but was a cowgirl at heart. She is survived by her mother, Vonnie Carlson (nee Wills); father, Rusty (Kristy) Hardy; sister, Angie (Grant) Mitchell; two nieces and a nephew Grace, Reese and Cole; grandparents, Bill and Sandra Hardy and Charlie and Teresa Ryan. Visitation 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. I know the sadness is overwhelming and the lost will never be filled; but I find peace in knowing she is with God now. No more pain; just her shiny smile. She's watching over us now. My deepest sympathies for you; Bonnie, Rusty, Angie, Nancy, Julie, Mary Anne, Becky and all extended family. May you find peace in her salvation. We will all miss her. With love, Moons and family.
