Mildred Alford

Mildred Lou Alford, 90, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. Mildred was the former Director of Personnel at Lakeside Place Nursing Home formerly in Highland Heights, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Emerson Alford in 2005, a daughter, Donna Alford in 1974 and a granddaughter, Kimberly Gibson in 2009. Mildred is survived by children, Ron Alford, Teri Vallandingham, Susan (Barry) Jolly, Judy Heilman, Tami (Jeff) Trunick and Corey Strickley; brother, Louis Schmidt; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM with funeral service immediately following at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery.
