Jill Ann
Thornton (nee Ernspiger), age 63, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Saturday,
May 20, 2017 at her residence. Jill was preceded in death by her son, Patrick
Simminger in 2011. She is survived by
her husband of 30yrs, Jake Thornton; daughter, Kelly (Bradley) Henson (nee
Thornton); sisters, Lindy (Mike) Kroell and Nancy (Gen) Allen. Visitation will
be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 10am to
12pm with the Funeral Service immediately following at 12pm. Interment will be
in the Alexandria Cemetery. Jill’s family would like to express their gratitude
for the care provided by Drs. Daniel and Doug Flora and the staff at St.
Elizabeth Cancer Care. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the
Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St., Alexandria, KY 41001. All funds
will assist with the cost of funeral related expenses.
