George Clinton "Clint" Carmack Jr.

George Clinton “Clint” Carmack, Jr. of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the age of 63. Clint was born to parents George Clinton “Sonny” Carmack, Sr., and Freda Rosella “Rosie” Camack on July 30, 1954, in Alexandria, KY. Loving siblings are Terry (Linda) Carmack, Mindy (Kirk) Painter (nee Carmack), and Doug (Ella) Carmack, proceeded in death by Theresa Carmack. He grew up as the second of five children. Clint attended St. Mary’s Elementary School, and Bishop Brossart High School both in Alexandria, KY.  Activities included Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department, participating in numerous professional state speech contests, and served in the banking industry for years including Clifton Southgate Federal, and Kentucky Federal.  Clint is survived by his current wife, Jenny, children Kim Carmack (Kevin) Galbaugh, and George Clinton “Bubba” Carmack, III, stepson Brandon (Vanessa) Mitchell, and Thomas (Shamira) Mitchell, Grandchildren Devyn Galbaugh, Cayson Mitchell, London Mitchell and Lalou Mitchell. Memorial visitation will be held at Alexandria Funeral Home on Monday, April 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, April 10th at 10:00 AM.  The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.

    So very sad to lose Cint at such an early age. He was such a nice, kind and friendly man. He truly brightened Radial when he walked through the doors. He will truly be missed by all. I know he is in heaven but I pray God gives his family strength at this very sad, difficult time. May God give you strength.
