Gregory C. Heringer, 63, of Melbourne, passed away on October 2, 2013 at his residence. He was a Maintenance Director for Lakeside Nursing Home in Highland Heights for over 30 yrs and had worked at the Holy Family Home in Melbourne since 2005. Mr. Heringer is survived by his wife of 27 yrs, Marsha Merrill Heringer; daughter, Gina (Craig) Rittinger; 2 grandsons, Joshua and Noah Rittinger; 2 brothers, Alford and Joseph Heringer; sister, Toni Ann Tyree; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph Heringer; mother, Dorothy Heringer Ewing; brother, Ronald Heringer. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 4pm to 7pm with Funeral Services immediately following at Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, Kentucky. Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to: Holy Family Home, Sisters of Divine Providence, 5300 St. Anne Drive, Melbourne, KY 41059.
