Alice Rosetta Florence

Alice Rosetta Florence (Rosie), passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. She was born June 16, 1921 to the late Henry and Mary Gosney Schwartz. Her brothers Sargent, Ted and John Schwartz and sister Alverna Westermeyer preceded her in death. She was married to the late William Sandford Florence. She is survived by three daughters, Marietta (Leroy) Randall, Marilynn Florence and Billie Florence; two grandsons, Lee (Elaine) Randall and Bill Randall; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Raegan Randall; two sisters, Christine Schmidt and Clementine Heringer and one brother, Harry (Bill) Schwartz; fifteen nephews and eleven nieces. She was a Charter Member of Fairlane Baptist Church and was retired from American Hardware Insurance Company. Visitation will be Sunday, August 3^rd from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM at Fairlane Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be held at the Church at 2:30 PM. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
