Doris "Yvonne" Thompson

Doris “Yvonne” Thompson, age 72, of California, KY passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler, KY. Yvonne was a retired legal secretary for Dinsmore & Shohl in Cincinnati, OH. She loved spending time tending to the family farm and being an active member of Persimmon Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon H. Thompson. She is survived by her four daughters, Karen Bell, Janet Rickels, Mary Class and Lou Ann Thompson;  two sisters-in-law, Annabell Trapp and Mary Frances Johnson; granddaughter, Sarah Bell; four grandsons, Adam Bell, Jeff Rickels, Joshua Rickels and Tom Class; great-grandson, Austin Bell; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm at Persimmon Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10am at Persimmon Grove Baptist Church.
