Thoughts and prayers to her family in their time of need. You will be greatly missed Desi.
ReplyDeleteFreddie and Karren, was it just 31 years ago that you brought her home from the hospital? Where do the years go? I am praying for you to find peace in your hearts in knowing that Desiree is now free. She was gripped by one of the worst illnesses and one of the hardest to get over. I know that she is watching over her two boys and knows that you will take care of them.
ReplyDeleteI love you both and if you need to talk just give me a call.
Love
Connie
Ever since we met in first grade Desiree was one of my closest friends. As we went our separate ways in life there hasn't been a day that's gone by that I haven't thought of her. I'll still think of her daily but I'll smile with the memories I have of her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteDes, you will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are for her family, our hearts are with you.

What A Day That Will Be
There is coming a day,
When no heart aches shall come,
No more clouds in the sky,
No more tears to dim the eye,
All is peace forever more,
On that happy golden shore,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
There'll be no sorrow there,
No more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no pain,
No more parting over there;
And forever I will be,
With the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be
Love you all,

Des, I will miss you dearly. I will always remeber your beautiful personality. You always had a smile on your face and eyes that lit up the room. You are now with Heavenly Father and an angel. My prayers are with the Shields family at this time. Love all of you... Justin Elias
ReplyDeleteFred, Karen, and family I just found out this heart breaking news. I would have been there if I had known. Des was like a little sister to me and I loved her very much. I know there is no way to take away the pain you are feeling. Just know she is watching down over each of you with that beautiful smile of hers. Love, Rhoda Brown & Family
