Steve Strasinger




Steve Strasinger, 52, of California, KY, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014. He was a former printer for RR Donnelley, Nielsen Plant, Florence, KY. Steve was a member of Mentor Baptist Church, Creekside Social Riders and Fish Meeting at Pelle’s Cafe.  Steve is survived by two sons, Shane and Spencer Strasinger; 
step-daughter, Kacy Cierley; parents, Ronald “Bud” and JoAnn Strasinger; brother, Larry (Bev) Strasinger; two sisters, Lori (Dean) Chambers and Traci (Kevin) Nelson; partner for life, Cathy Jones; three nephews, Kyle, Jacob and Jamie; one niece, Kelsey. Visitation Sunday, November 16, 2014 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Mentor, KY. Memorials may be made to Creekside Social Riders (Scholarship Fund), 30 18th Street Newport, KY 41071.

  2. steve is a wonderful man, we always said the lord brought us together. i dont know why after almost three wonderful years together, the lord came and took him away. he was a great man, a great father, and he was my everything. us as a team we balanced each other out. I loved him dearly, he was my best friend.steve ur in my heart. i will always love u. u will never be forgotten.

  3. you have so many beautiful qualities in a man, ur smile was precious. ur personality. was inspiring. ur laughter was breath taking. i never tried to change you, because u r who i fell in love with. its just so hard to believe ur gone in a physical body. but i feel u with me, and i never want to let that feel go. i love u now and forever. keep ur eyes on us. i love u steve.

  9. My husband Ted and I knew Steve for years from working with him at Nielsen, to bowling with him every Friday. Heaven gained another angel and got even sweeter when he got there
