Hill, 90, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Saint
Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood, KY. He was a retired employee of Hilton Davis and a
WWII Army veteran. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years,
Christine Hill. He is survived by five daughters, Doris Poe, Mary Casson,
Vickie Gibson, Peggy Hill and Becky Strong; a brother Golman Hill; 10
grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday, December
26, 2014 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Funeral service 10:00
AM Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery,
Alexandria, KY. Memorials may be made to the New Macedonia Baptist Church, 1143
