Dorothy Mae Roberts , 93, of Alexandria, passed away on August 21, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Fort Thomas, KY. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Herald "2007". She is survived by 2 sons, Marvin & Utah McIntosh both of Celina, OH, a sister, Jessie Cochran of Lexington, KY, 5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with funeral service following at 12:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, Kentucky. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY. Memorials to American Cancer Society.

ReplyDeleteYou will be deeply missed. You are now with all the ones who have gone before you and especially your baby girl. You have taught me to be a strong woman. I thank God that you did not have to suffer with your recent diagnosis. You did not deserve any suffering on this earth. The most kind hearted, loving person I've every know. You've been a very close part of my life for 50 yrs and I already miss our hour long telephone conversations. We will heal. You are at peace, no more tears for your baby. I find peace in this. You no longer suffer from a broken heart. I love you so much Grandma. Tears from Heaven fell the day you passed, as it rained all afternoon and night. Gavin misses you terribly and has accidently picked up the phone and called you out of habit, to check on you before you went to bed. He will be ok baby. He did not want you to suffer. Forever in our hearts.
