Thelma (Hartig) Hofstetter, 85, formerly of Alexandria, KY, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Barrington of Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker, past president of the Campbell County VFW #3205 Ladies Auxiliary, former treasurer of the Grand Order of the Cooties Auxiliary, member of Happy 100's and a member of the Alexandria United Methodist Church. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, John Hofstetter Sr.; three sisters, Julia Kraemer, Dorothy Wanner and Helen Hofstetter; four brothers, Elmer, Irvin, Raymond and Artie Hartig. She is survived by three sons, John (Barb) "Danny" Hofstetter Jr., Steven (Rose) Hofstetter and Timothy (Rita) Hofstetter; three daughters, Janet (Gary) Miller, Kathy (Larry) Weinel and Margie (Tom) Weinel. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2012, with the funeral service begining at 12:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment Saint Mary Cemetery, Alexandria, KY. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042.
