Thelma K. Lucas

Thelma Katherine Lucas (nee Fausz), 92, formerly of Alexandria, KY. passed away peacefully Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY. She was born April 5, 1920 in Newport, Ky, the daughter of the late Jacob and the late Anna Fausz (nee Schmidt). Thelma was a retired clerk from the Alexandria Drug Store, Alexandria, KY and a member of Daughters of American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph G. Lucas; a son, Ralph E. Lucas; two sisters, Frances Kuehen and Anna Ziegler;  and three brothers, John, Jake and Edward Fausz. She is survived by a son, Gary C. (Jan) Lucas; caring grandmother to Timothy (Andrea) Lucas, Geoffrey (Lauren) Lucas. Great grandmother to Roman, Avery, Grady and Grant. Visitation 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Alexandria Funeral Home Alexandria, KY. Funeral service 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral Home.
