Norman B. Short

Norman B. Short, 88, of California, KY, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014. He was a WWII Veteran with the United States Coast Guard; a retired crane operator for Cleveland Wrecking Company, Cincinnati, OH & was honored for 50 years with the Operating Engineers of Cincinnati, OH, a member of Mayo Masonic Lodge #198 F&AM and Campbell County VFW Post #3205. Norman is survived by his wife of 66 years Mary Short; three sons, Wayne, Mike and Ron Short; two grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Visitation 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 with funeral services beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment with Military Honors at the Mount Gilead Cemetery, Carthage, KY.
