Bertha Baynum Griffin

Bertha Baynum Griffin, 89, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. She retired from Carmel Manor Nursing Home, Fort Thomas, KY. Bertha was a member of Flagg Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Etta Marie Hall Baynum; her husband, Bernard Griffin; two sons, Charles and Virgil Morris; a sister, Mae Pickelheimer; five brothers, Claude, Elmer, Leroy, Eugene and Floyd Baynum. She is survived by one son, Paul David Morris; four sisters, Selma Pollard, Lenora Bailey, Doris Orcutt and Cora Sabie; six grandchildren , four great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2014 with funeral service following at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment in the Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery, California, KY.
