Carolynn S. Griffin

Carolynn S. Hooten Griffin, age 66, of Alexandria, KY passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. Carolynn will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a true nature lover who loved flowers, enjoyed bird watching and believed in being kind, selfless and generous to all. Carolynn is survived by her loving husband, Michael W. Griffin; daughter, Angie Griffin Pfefferman Tarlton (Mike); son, Dr. Paul Griffin; siblings, Larry Hooten, Patty Wuestefeld, Peggy Engleke, Debbie Kramer and John Hooten; grandchildren, Abbey and Jake Pfefferman; she is also survived by a host of family, friends and her much loved cats, Candy and Boy Cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Ferkenhoff Hooten and her brother, Ronnie Hooten. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 10am to 11am with a Memorial Mass immediately following at 11am at St. Mary Parish, 8246 East Main St., Alexandria, KY 41001.
