Franklin D.
Watts, 81, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at home. Franklin
served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a former Kentucky State
Trooper and a retired teacher with Campbell County Schools. He was a member of
the Campbell County Teachers Association and Main Street Baptist Church. He is
survived by his wife, Doris Watts (nee Caudill); children, Jeffery (Rhonda), Martin and
Letha Watts; granddaughters, Christina (Mitchel) Deaton and Nicole Watts;
brother, Bernard Watts; sisters, Lorene Caudill, Mae Williams and Mary Blair. Visitation
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Alexandria Funeral Home,
Alexandria, KY. Funeral service 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will
be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials are
requested to Care Mission, 11093 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001.

One of the best men that ever lived. He was such a great school teacher and had such a way with students. He was my teacher at A.J.Jolly school and I will never forget him.
