NEWPORT – Daisy "Snooky" Linton, 62, died Tuesday, Feb. 16 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.
Survivors include her sons, Troy and Tony Powell; sister, Sandy Combs; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
No public services. Alexandria Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Patricia Ann Adams,
age 59, of Alexandria, Ky., died Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Hospice of the Bluegrass Fort Thomas in Ft. Thomas, KY.
She is survived by her husband Melvin (Roy) Adams;
Daughter-Shelby Adams of Alexandria, KY.
Son-Ryan Adams of Alexandria, KY.
Sister-Michelle Sturgill of Cold Spring, KY
She was a teacher at the Cline Middle School for many years.
Visitation from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM Friday, February 19, 2010 with the funeral service following at 4:30.

Diane Ruth Porter


Diane R. Porter, age 70, of Alexandria, KY., died Monday, February 15, 2010, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY. Mrs. Porter was a retired employee of Redken Laboratories. She was a volunteer at Saint Elizabeth Hospital Edgewood in the emergency room & also a volunteer at Saint Elizabeth Hospice Unit Edgewood. She was the daughter of the late Glen Donald Jackson and the late Marjorie Clara Jackson (nee Mettler).
She wa preceded in death by her husband Gordon Porter November 3, 2003.
She is survived by her
Three Sons,
Son-Alan Porter of Alexandria, KY.
Son-Mike Porter of Alexandria, KY.
Son-Dan Porter of Dallas, TX.
Grandson Johnathan Porter of Dallas, TX.
Sister-Debi Wandrew of Irvine, CA.
Brother-David Jackson of Tempe, AZ.

Jack Dischar, 73, of Tampa, FL, formerly of California, KY., died Jan. 12, 2010 Tarpon Bayou Center Tarpon Spring, FL. He was an electrician, spokesperson for AA. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Butsch Dischar. He is survived by 2 daughters Leslie Henry of South Newport, KY & Nicole Brink of Fort Thomas, KY. 3 sons Rick Dischar of Alexandria, John Dischar of California, KY. & Joshua Dischar of Petersburg, KY. 2 Brothers Harry Dischar of Amelia, OH. & Bud Dischar of Alexandria, KY. 2 sisters Ann Peters of Alexandria, KY & Mary Inabitt of Highland Heights, KY. 11 grandchildren. Bethel Collins Cantrell

Bethel Collins Cantrell, age 81, passed peacefully away from this life on Saturday morning, February 6, 2010, at home. Devoted wife of Charles Cantrell for 63 years. and cherished mother of George "Sam" Cantrell. She was born in Robertson County, Kentucky on August 8, 1928. Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by her parents the late George "sam" Collins and the late Maude Burns Collins and her sister Nellie Collins. She was a decendant of Simon Kenton and several other early Kentucky pioneers. Many of her ancestors came to America in the 1600's. Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Alexandria United Methodist Church Alexandria, Kentucky and a Kentucky Colonel. Visitation 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday, February 11, 2010, with funeral services to follow at the Alexandria United Methodist Church. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Taylor Mill, KY. Alexandria Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Margie L. Saunders, age 86, of Taylor Mill, Ky., died Monday, February 1, 2010, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, Ky. She was a homemaker. Preceded in death by her lat husband Fred Saunders in 1983 and her son Thomas Saunders in 1982.
