Bobby G. Fuller

Bobby G. Fuller, 80, of Butler, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas. He was a retired mechanic for the City of Fort Thomas. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Jay Fuller. Bobby is survived by a son, Billy (Sarah) Fuller; two daughters, Karen (Dale) Breitbreutz and Karen Lonaker; sister, Louise Caywood; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private no visitation. Entombment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery Mausoleum. Alexandria Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Roman A. Enzweiler

Roman A. Enzweiler, age 88, of Camp Springs, KY died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was a retired truck driver for Crossett Inc.  Mr. Enzweiler served in the Army during the Korean War and was a Bronze Star recipient.  He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Camp Springs, the American Legion, Alexandria, VFW Post 3205, Alexandria, and the ASAPAC Alumni Association, Tokyo.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Florence G. Enzweiler in 2010.  He is survived by five daughters, Laura Enzweiler, Linda (Dennis) Reller, Carole (Rick) Kaiser, Amy Eglian, and Gail Wilhelm-Olsen; two sons, Robert Enzweiler and Andy (Sherri) Enzweiler; also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 4PM to 8PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10AM, Friday, April 28th at St. Joseph Church, Camp Springs, KY.  Interment with military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Camp Springs, KY. Memorials are suggested to: St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017.

Dorothy Mae Kuhl

Dorothy Mae Kuhl (nee Neiser), 96, of Alexandria, KY passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas. Dorothy worked for the Campbell County Farm Extension Office, R L Polk Company and the Internal Revenue Service.  She retired in 1982. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church of Alexandria, KY. Dorothy enjoyed her family, church, travel and her son’s greenhouse. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kuhl; sister, Virginia Neiser, and six unborn children. She is survived by six children, Linda (Ed) Scholl, Dennis (Kris) Kuhl, Steve (Josephine) Kuhl, Les (Barb) Kuhl, Debbie (Scott) Musick and Jeff (Holly) Kuhl; eleven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Main Street Baptist Church, 11093 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001. Funeral service 1:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2017 at Main Street Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Main Street Baptist Church. Thelma P. Weckbach (nee Tarvin) age 97, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at her grandson’s home in Union, KY. Thelma was a retired supervisor for National Band & Tag of Newport, KY. She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Campbell County Homemakers, Happy 100’s and Sts. Peter & Paul Seniors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Weckbach and three brothers, Lloyd, Meredith and Warren Tarvin; great granddaughter, Emily Rittinger. She is survived by two children, Brenda (Charles) Weimer and Robert Weckbach Jr; sister, Virginia Miller; two grandchildren, Casey Weckbach and Keith (Missy) Rittinger; three great grandchildren, Laura Pettit, Suzanne Hitch and Alex Rittinger; two great-great grandchildren, Rhett Hitch and Caleb Pettit. Visitation Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in the Persimmon Grove Cemetery.

Gene J. Studer, 86, of Alexandria, KY, passed awayThursday, April 6, 2017 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, OH. Gene was a retired employee of the City of Alexandria, KY. A Korean War Veteran and a member of Campbell County VFW Post # 3205. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Studer (nee Edwards). He is survived by two sons: Gene and John Studer; 3 grandchildren and 3 great  grandchildren. Visitation Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until time of service at  12:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors following  at the Alexandria Cemetery .

Arline M. Bundy

Arline M. Bundy (nee Wielbruda), age 80, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Saint Elizabeth Fort Thomas. Arline was a retired employee of the IRS. She was a member of Saint John Lutheran Church of Melbourne, KY, the Alexandria Lions Club, Valley Homemakers and was a Kentucky Colonel. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bundy; two sons, Kevin (Brad) Bundy and Keith (Jolynne) Bundy; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM. A second visitation will be on Monday April10, 2017 at Saint John Lutheran Church, 5977 Lower Tug Fork Road, Melbourne, KY 41059 from 8:00 AM until time of services at 9:00 AM. Eric Patterson

Erik John Patterson, age 41, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017. He worked in shipping and receiving for Eagle Manufacturing. Erik was a good father and loving son. He will be remembered as a fun-loving and generous person who liked to help and enjoyed putting a smile on your face.  He had a very outgoing personality and was loved dearly by his family and the many friends he leaves behind. He is survived by his two sons, Chance and Owen Patterson; father, Ben Patterson; mother and step-father, Christine and Mark Morris; two brothers, Luke (Rhiannon) Patterson and Daniel (Jayna) Morris; sister, Katie Morris; also survived by six nephews. Robert Frank Reed

Robert Frank Reed, age 82, of California, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. He is survived by his wife Joyce Rosse Reed, children Jeffrey, Gregory, Lori, Andy and Toni Lynn, brother Thomas, sister Jo Ann and 5 grandchildren. He was a graduate of New Brighton High School, PA, Culver Academies, Allegheny College and Chase Law School. For 35 years he was a partner at Becker, Reed, Tilton & Hastings Law Group in Cincinnati. He served in the Army, was on the Board of Directors for the Shriner Burns Institute, a member of the Ohio Bar Association, Yeatman Lodge #162 F.&A.M. and Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. Velma Gubser

Velma Gubser (nee Schalk), 86, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017at her home. Velma was a homemaker, a member of Saint Philip Church, Saint Joseph Mother’s Club, Saint Mary’s Ladies Society and she volunteered at Saint Joseph School Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jacob Gubser; parents, Anton and Bertha (nee Wirsch) Schalk; siblings, Dorothy Steins, Berdie Thomas and Ralph Schalk. Velma is survived by her children, Sandra (Brian) Croley, Vickie (Rick) Dunn, Julie (Jeff) Rath and Larry (Ceil) Gubser; siblings, Ruth Reis, Jean Nehus and Charles Schalk; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Paul B. Reis

Paul B. Reis, 89, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away March 31, 2017 at Carmel Manor, Fort Thomas.  Paul served in the Navy at the end of WWII. He was a Captain and Chief Engineer for the Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department from 1959 -1989 and also a former Deputy with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department. Paul was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Wilder, KY. Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Reis (nee Sandfoss); parents Anthony and Elsie (nee Geisel) Reis; brothers, Marvin, Leo, Howard and Albert Reis. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Reis (nee Purcell); Children, Judy (Larry Eten) Schmidt, Tom (Trish) Reis, Roger (Judi) Reis, Rich Reis, Steve (Trish) Reis and Dan (Norma) Reis; Step Children, Mary Ann (Doug) Hoffman, Julie Ferguson, Lisa (Mike) Kelly, Claire (Dan) Jackson, Joe (Julie) Burkart and Steve (Janet) Burkart; 31 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
