JoAnne Leonard

JoAnne Eva Leonard, 78, formerly of Cincinnati Ohio, passed away suddenly April 23rd, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Lillie Leonard, brother, Dale Leonard and sister, Mae Leonard Neiman and brother-in-law, Winfield Neiman. She is survived by brother, Neil Leonard (Pearl Osburg Leonard), nieces, Sarah Neiman Sturgeon (Brian), Denise Leonard Govan (Dave), great nieces, Nicole and Abby Sturgeon, Haley Govan and great nephew, David Govan, and many, many friends. She was a graduate of Campbell County High School, Alexandria KY and a graduate of Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH. She was a retired registered nurse and spent the last 22 years of her career as a Hospice nurse in Florida. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati OH. Donations made in her honor will go to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL  33760.

Sonja Martin Ramey

Sonja Marie Ramey (nee Martin), 71, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at her home. Sonja was an employee of Meijer, Cold Spring, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Marie Fraley Martin. Sonja is survived by her son, Tim Ramey; siblings, Yvette (Mark) McGuire and Jerry (Joan) Martin; granddaughters, Allison and Allyssa. Visitation Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St, Alexandria, KY 41001 from 5:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Robert Lee Baldridge

Robert Lee Baldridge, 90, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. Robert was a WWII Army Veteran. He worked for CSX Railroad as conductor for 35 years. Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Silver Grove. He loved the outdoors and was an avid trout fisherman. Robert is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Baldridge (nee Wood); 5 children: Diana (Rick) Estepp, Robert (Jacqueline) Baldridge, Thomas (Shelly) Baldridge, Glen Baldridge and James (Peggy) Baldridge; 13 grandchildren: Robin, Kelli, Rachel, Kristin, Alexandra, Lauren, Lindsey, Molly, Emily, Bobby, Ricky, Jordan and Andrew; 7 great grandchildren who lovingly called him “Big Papaw”: Noah, Miles, Isaac, Thomas, Ellie, Maci and Freddie; 4 surviving siblings: Kenneth (Peggy) Baldridge, Joe Baldridge, Gertie Etheridge and Dot Wagner. Visitation Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Imogene Jenkins Wise

Imogene Jenkins Wise (nee Rose), age 81, of Cold Spring, KY (formerly of Falmouth, KY) passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Highlandspring of Ft. Thomas. Imogene was a longtime member of Turner Ridge Baptist Church in Falmouth.  She is preceded in death by her parents, George Rose and Ella Frances Rose Hoggatt (nee Adams). She is survived by her children, Peggy (Steve) Craig, Ricky (Tammy) Jenkins, Rosann (Tom Lutkenhoff) Jenkins, and  Steven (Rebecca) Jenkins; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17th from 5PM to 7PM with the Funeral Service immediately following at 7PM. George Clinton "Clint" Carmack Jr.

George Clinton “Clint” Carmack, Jr. of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the age of 63. Clint was born to parents George Clinton “Sonny” Carmack, Sr., and Freda Rosella “Rosie” Camack on July 30, 1954, in Alexandria, KY. Loving siblings are Terry (Linda) Carmack, Mindy (Kirk) Painter (nee Carmack), and Doug (Ella) Carmack, proceeded in death by Theresa Carmack. He grew up as the second of five children. Clint attended St. Mary’s Elementary School, and Bishop Brossart High School both in Alexandria, KY.  Activities included Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department, participating in numerous professional state speech contests, and served in the banking industry for years including Clifton Southgate Federal, and Kentucky Federal.  Clint is survived by his current wife, Jenny, children Kim Carmack (Kevin) Galbaugh, and George Clinton “Bubba” Carmack, III, stepson Brandon (Vanessa) Mitchell, and Thomas (Shamira) Mitchell, Grandchildren Devyn Galbaugh, Cayson Mitchell, London Mitchell and Lalou Mitchell. Memorial visitation will be held at Alexandria Funeral Home on Monday, April 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, April 10th at 10:00 AM.  The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.

Dinford “Dee” Gibson, 91, of Independence, KY, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at his home. Dinford was retired and previously worked for Baldwin Piano, Ammon Nursey and Crescent Paper Tube Company and served in the United States Army during WWII. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Phillip) Long; two grandsons: Aaron & Joshua Long; great granddaughter, Bailey Long. Services are at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Hampton Cemetery, Barbourville, KY. Alexandria Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
