Dinford “Dee” Gibson, 91, of Independence, KY, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at his home. Dinford was retired and previously worked for Baldwin Piano, Ammon Nursey and Crescent Paper Tube Company and served in the United States Army during WWII. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Phillip) Long; two grandsons: Aaron & Joshua Long; great granddaughter, Bailey Long. Services are at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Hampton Cemetery, Barbourville, KY. Alexandria Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to, Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, 483 S Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017

Mr Dee came into my work to buy chicken feed, he was one of the most pleasurable persons to come into our store. I always enjoyed talking with him, listening to his story's, and he was always smiling. He will be missed by all of us...
