Hazel Elizabeth Clifford
ALEXANDRIA – Hazel Elizabeth Clifford, 84, died July 29, 2010, at Indianspring of Oakley.
Her husband, Roy Clifford, died previously.
Survivors include her son, Gary Yates of Augusta, Ga.; daughter, Darlene Smith of Alexandria; sister, Robbie Lehman of Cincinnati; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, with service following at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Darrell Downing


ALEXANDRIA - Darrell Downing, 64, died July 26 at Hospice of the Bluegrass Care Center, Fort Thomas.
He worked for PME/Babbit Bearings of Cincinnati, and was a member of the Alexandria Masonic Lodge

Survivors include his wife, Diane Perkins Downing; sons, David and Derek Downing, both of Alexandria; sisters, Yvonne Woods of Crittenden, Patricia Webb of Union, Kathy Littlefield of Georgia; brother, Charles Lee of Milford and two grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 30, at Alexandria Funeral Home.

Dixie Belle Gunkel, age 77, of Alexandria, KY., died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home in Latonia, Ky. Mrs. Gunkel was a retired cook for Lakeside Place Nursing Home Highland Heights, KY. Born July 16, 1933 Newport, KY. Daughter of the late Wilson & the late Dorothy (Giar) Haubner.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Gunkel "1990".
She is survived by her

Vernon Watson

Mr. Vernon Forest Watson, age 86, of Alexandria, Ky., died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, KY. Mr. Watson was employed by General Electric as a tool and dye machinist, a WWII Vet, and a member of the honor guard at the Nuremburg Trials.
He is preceded in death by his wife Gladys.
He is survived by his

Lorraine Hartig Kremer, age 88, of Camp Springs, KY., died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Saint Elizabeth Fort Thomas. She was an employee of the Wadsworth Watch Case Company Dayton, KY; she was a manager for Saint Joseph School Cafeteria Camp Springs & Saint Anne Convent Melbourne, KY. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxillary Camp Springs Fire Department.; Parishoner of Saint Joseph Church Camp Springs; member Happy 100's & a Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Hartig "1986", second husband William Kremer "1998" & a granddaughter Lindsey Sendelbach "2005".
She is survived by her

James Schnitzler

James Clifford Schnitzler, age 88, of Butler, Ky., died Monday, July 12th at Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He was a retired employee of Interlake Steel, Newport, KY. He Served in the Army during World War II where he earned a purple heart.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Norma Spangler.
