Mary Rose Dunn

Mary Rose Dunn (nee Cappilupo), 92, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Highlandspring of Fort Thomas. Mary retired after 35 years from Frisch’s where she started as one of the original car hops. She helped open restaurants in many states and also served as a manager. After her retirement from Frisch’s she worked at Walmart as a cashier. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Dunn and a daughter, Nancy Lederer. She is survived by: two daughters, Earlene (John) Eckert and Rosemary (Bill) Neiser; one sister, Jean Evoy; six grandchildren; sixteen great–grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St, Alexandria, KY from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Gene Pauly

Gene Pauly, 89, of Highland Heights, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Gene was a retired employee of Universal Car Loading. He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Joan Pauly (nee Riegler); two children: Sonny (Beverly) Pauly and Mary Ann (Joe) Kinney; eight grandchildren: Eric, Alisha, Jason, Joshua, Sheena, Cristi, Kelli and Cory; 21 great-grandchildren. Willa Frances Heideman

Willa Frances Heideman (nee Biggs), 95, of Highland Heights, KY, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at Ivy Knoll Caring Center Community, Covington, KY. Willa retired from the J C Penny CO, she was a volunteer at Saint Luke Hospital in Ft. Thomas and was a member of Christ Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Marion Bernard Heideman, and one brother and two sisters. Willa is survived by two daughters: Kathy (Bill) Heybruch and Mary (Lanny) Burch; two sisters: Nancy Ruschell and Pat Connett; three grandchildren: Shawna Sester, Jennifer Fryman and Christopher Heybruch; six great-grandchildren:  Austin Fryman, Tara McNees, Brady Heybruch, Brennan Heybruch, Makayla Fryman and Bailey Sester; one great-great grandson: Kayson Slone. Jill Leslie Eckert, 47, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018. Jill the daughter of Daniel and Millie (Hafer) Eckert was born May 1, 1971, in Fort Thomas, KY. Besides her parents Jill is survived by her daughter, Jenna Walker; brother, Dan (Teresa) Eckert; sister, Julie (Ron) Rizzo; three grandchildren, Jude Hensley, Mayzee Walker and Kieya Walker. Carl Bowling

Carl Bowling, age 87, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. Carl was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Alexandria Church of God. Carl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Vernie Bowling (nee Cotton); three sons, Carl, Dave, and Larry Bowling; two brothers, Leslie and Vernon Bowling; two sisters, Midge Hensley and Nancy Hardin; also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 15th from 11:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at the Alexandria Church of God, 5 Washington St, Alexandria, KY 41001, with Pastor Jamey Horton officiating. Richard Dietz, 90, of Camp Springs, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at his home. Richard retired from the printing trade, was a WWII Navy Veteran and operated the family business, Dietz Lakes of Camp Springs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Dietz (nee Diamond). Richard is survived by two daughters, Sherryll (Oscar) Tucker and Lynn (Edward) Griffiths; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hogle, John Nelson, Scott Nelson, Elliott Clark and Casey Tucker; also survived by six great-grandchildren. Sylvia B. Montgomery, 85, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her home. Sylvia was born April 26, 1933 to the late Ralph and the late Blanche (Smith) Montgomery. She was a retired employee of the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company and a lifelong member of Grant’s Lick Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville, Melvin, Joe and Robert Montgomery. Sylvia is survived by several nieces and nephews. Hazel Smith Gray (nee Gaskins), 74, formerly of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at Highlandsprings of Fort Thomas. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Smith in 1991.
