Nelson B. Fox
Nelson B. Fox, age 79, of Crestview Hills,Formerly of Alexandria, KY, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY. Nelson retired from General Motors. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alexandria. World War II Army Veteran. Member of Fr. DeJaco Council, Knights of Columbus, Alexandria. Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Bishop Flaget Assembly where he was a former comptroller of the assembly. Nelson was very active in the Color Corp of the Fourth Degree. Treasurer of the DAV of Northern Kentucky. Nelson also graduated from Thomas More College at age 50. Survived by his wife of 59 yrs., Ronella "Nell" (nee Ortlieb) Fox; Five Daughters: Deborah (Gary) Reimer of Morningview, KY; Patricia Bridewell of Dayton, OH; Pamela (Steve) Powell of Cold Spring, KY; Cynthia (Robert) Miller of Medford, NJ & Jacqueline (Jim) Farr of Algonquin, IL; One Son: Kenneth Fox of Alexandria, KY; Two Sisters Bev Mueller of Cincinnati, OH & Allison Budzn of Cincinnati, OH; Three Brothers: Fred Fox of Cincinnati, OH, Ronald Fox of Cincinnati, OH & the Late Wesley Fox; 13 Grand Children & 5 Great-Grand Children.

Robert Griffin
Robert William Griffin, age 86, of Cold Spring, KY, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Fort Thomas, KY. He was a member of Christ Baptist Church, Cold Spring. He served in the Army during World War II and worked as a supervisor for the D.A.V.. He was preceded in death by his son Billy Griffin.
He is survived by his wife; Margaret (nee Trapp) Griffin; son,

Albino Cigallio
Albino Cigallio, age 88, of Alexandria, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 29th 2011, at
the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth
Cigallio , son Edward Cigallio, and brother Rudy Cigallio. He also leaves behind a daughter
in law, Glenna Cigallio and granddaughters, Sarah Cigallio and Mary Gwen Cigallio. He is
preceded in death by his son Charles Peter Cigallio.
Al served as an officer on the Destroyer Steinaker in WWII and acquired a degree in Mining
Engineering from Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan. After several successful years on the
iron ranges in Michigan, he moved to Kentucky in 1965 and became General Manager of Black
River Mine in Carntown, Kentucky. He retired in 1981 and began woodworking as a hobby. He
was an exceptional father, a brilliant engineer, a loving husband and grandfather, and our hero.
Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on May 4th between the hours of 5:00

Kathy Kay Sherrill, age 67, of Alexandria, KY, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Saint Elizabeth in Edgewood, KY. She was a retired school teacher in the Campbell County School System. Kathy was an avid fisherwoman, the family matriarch, and a good friend. She was also the secretary for Geo Therm heating and cooling. She Graduated from the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Grant's Lick Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle (Jan 17, 2011), her parents Nolan and Margaret Clift; Sisters: Donna and Linda Clift; Mother and father in law: Bradley and Lillie Sherrill. She is survived by her sisters: Sandra (David) Decker of Alexandria, KY., Mindy (Doug) Redden of Butler, KY., Tina (Mike) Roseberry of Alexandria, KY; Beloved aunt of Sonya Antrobus, Jacob Redden of Falmouth, KY; Rhea Wickelhaus, Danielle Johnson of Alexandria, KY; Amy Montgomery of Butler, KY.
