Timothy Haigis 48, Died Friday June 24 at University Hospital. He was a great outdoorsman. He is survived by his sons Nick and Cody Haigis; daughter Corinne Haigis; mother Eileen Haigis; brothers Jeff, Matt, and Tom Haigis; sister Noreen Muth. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Norb and Steve Haigis. He also leaves behind his beloved companion Jennifer Brautigan. Helen Lee Pavey, age 94, of Butler, KY, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at Saint Elizabeth in Fort Thomas, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Pavey (1969) and her son Larry Swartz (2003). Harry M Thorn Jr., age 89, of Alexandria, KY, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice in Fort Thomas, KY.
Harry was devoted husband and father with a great sense of humor and nicknames for everyone. He was a volunteer at Meals on wheels for 13 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Connie Hanson.

Jacqueline Silvia

Jacqueline Silvia, age 84, of Fort Thomas, KY, formerly of Acushnet, MA died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, KY. She was a former sewing machine operator for D&J Frocks. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge in New Bedford, MA and enjoyed sewing. Preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Silvia in 1987. Loving mother of Marc Silvia, Josette Sparks both of Alexandria, KY and Donna Cordeira of North Attleborough, MA. Dear sister of Nanette Beaudoin of Epinal, France. Devoted grandmother of Shannon Sparks, Marc and Amy Cordeira, Brigitte Strickland, Susan Hale, and Michelle Silvia. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Alexandria Funeral Home is assisting the family.
