Allen L. Baker
Allen L. Baker, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his home in Grant’s Lick, KY. He retired after 43 years at Siemens in Norwood, OH and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Grant’s Lick Baptist Church, a member of the Campbell County High School Athletic Hall of Fame and a coach for many Campbell County Knothole Baseball teams. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Schweitzer Baker, two daughters, Cindy (Richard) Hardy and Debbie Dunn, two sons, Lee Allen (Judy) Baker and Barry Baker, a sister, Carolee (Tony) Pfefferman. Also survived by seven grandchildren and a great grandson. Visitation 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Funeral services 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Katherine Minnie Parnell, 94, of Fort Thomas (formerly of Melbourne), passed away on May 16, 2012. She was a loving mother who was devoted to her church and family. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, son, Ralph Jr. and daughters, Katherine Parnell, JoAnn Strange. She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Moore, Judy Strange, sons, Terry and Russell Parnell, 18 Grandchildren, 43 Great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren. Arthur William Schack, 63, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Saint Elizabeth Fort Thomas. Art was a graduate of Bishop Brossart High School, Thomas More College and the University of Illinois with a degree in mathematics. He was a devoted member of St. Thomas Church in Fort Thomas and of St. Peter Forester Court 1492 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Twelve Mile. He was currently employed with Fifth Third Bank as a computer programmer. He is survived by his brother, Richard G. Schack of Alexandria, his sister, Margaret M. Schack of Highland Heights, his aunt, Vera Krutzkamp of Twelve Mile and many friends. Visitation 10 AM – 11:45 AM Monday, May 21, 2012 at Sts. LeRoy Mains Jr
LeRoy Mains Jr., 52, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on May 10, 2012. He was a retired Navy veteran who served during Desert Storm and many other tours of duty. LeRoy was known for loving his motorcycles and his cappuccino. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents LeRoy and Alice Mains.
