Bruce A. Bartz , 65, of Mentor, KY, passed
away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Saint Elizabeth Fort Thomas. He was a
retired print tech for Xerox. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Bruce
coached many teams throughout the years in basketball, softball and Knothole
baseball. Bruce is survived by his
loving wife, Sue Gosney Bartz; daughter, Karen (Bill) Herald; son, Michael
(Sarah) Bartz; 4 grandchildren, Amanda and
Noah Herald, Sophia and Trent Bartz; 2 brothers, William Bartz Jr.and
Brian Bartz; sister, Beverly Smith. Visitation 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Edna Mae Eckert
Edna Mae Eckert, 81, of Melbourne, KY, passed away on May 22, 2013 at her residence. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, John Eckert. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Daniel, Donna Baker and Robin McCann; 2 sons, Steve and John Eckert; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 with Funeral services immediately following. Interment will be in the Alexandria Cemetery

Melvin Dickerson
Melvin Dickerson, 94, of Highland Heights, passed away on May 20, 2013. Capt. Dickerson retired after serving in the Air Force for 35 years. He served as a WWII pilot and served as flight instructor in Korea and Viet Nam. He was a 33rd degree Mason, retired from GE Evendale and a member of Newport Elks 273. Melvin is survived by his son, Paul Dickerson of Highland Heights, KY; brother, Art (Ann) Dickerson; Sister, Vivian Dickerson. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9:30AM - 10:00AM with the funeral starting at 10:00AM at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Albert William Messmer, 66, of California, KY, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice Fort Thomas. He retired in 2002 after 37 years for Duke Energy (Cinergy). He was a former cub scout leader, a former member of Campbell County Planning & Zoning, a dedicated farmer and an avid card player. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Howard Messmer and Henrietta (Ruschman) Messmer and a son, William Messmer.
