Diane Marie Haubner, age 66, of California, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at her residence. She was a retired employee of the IRS and a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, California, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Betty Seiter and a brother, Jerry Seiter. Diane is survived by her husband, Robert Haubner; daughter, Shannon Haubner; son, Rob (Amanda) Haubner; three grandchildren, Grant, Lydia and Ethan; four brothers, Norb Jr. (Annie), David (Irmgard), Steve (Connie), and Ken (Sharon) Seiter; five sisters, Brenda (Denny) Baker, Linda (Steve) Govan, Carol (Steve) Hinkel, Lisa (Kevin) Rust and Patty (Dave) Verst. Cliffye Jo Lang

Cliffye Jo Lang (nee Stormer), of Alexandria, KY,  passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at her home. Ellis Lang, David (Kathy) Lang, Melinda (Mark) Schamer and Karen Lang mourn the loss of their beloved wife, mother and mother-in-law. Grandsons, Brandon Lang (Jennifer Owens), Luke Schamer (Sarah Gleick) and Ethan Schamer mourn the loss of their devoted grandmother. Robert Lang

Robert ‘Bob” Lang, 71, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood. Robert was born February 5, 1943 in Englewood, New Jersey, the son of the late George and the late Stella (Spiryda) Lang. Robert worked 45 years for General Cable Corporation as a laboratory specialist. He was a song writer and loved his dogs Ambrose and Mia. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Patire Lang; two daughters, Heather (Deron) Beer and Kirsten (James) Stanley; a sister, Dorothy Jastrzebski; five grandchildren, Parker, Reece, Sabrina, Landon and Gavin. Visitation Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 5:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Herbert Lee Hill

Herbert Lee Hill, 90, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood, KY. He was a retired employee of Hilton Davis and a WWII Army veteran. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Christine Hill. He is survived by five daughters, Doris Poe, Mary Casson, Vickie Gibson, Peggy Hill and Becky Strong; a brother Golman Hill; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Edward G. Robinson

Edward G. Robinson, 68, of Melbourne, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at his home. Edward was born April 5, 1946 in Grant's Lick, KY the son of the late William and Helen (Schafer) Robinson. He was a retired pipe fitter and a member of Campbell County VFW Post 3205. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Weinel Robinson; two daughters, Marissa (Dan) Robinson and Julie (Mel) Sands; two sons, Clark (Jaime) Robinson and Scott (Katie) Kremer; two brothers, Chuck (Jodi) Robinson and Carl (Sandy) Robinson; one sister, Darlene Brown; ten grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY at Noon.

 

Anna Marie Johnston Bierman

Anna Marie Johnston Bierman, 92, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood. She was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service. Anna was preceded in death by husbands, Charles Johnston Jr. and Gus Bierman and a step son Michael (Diane) Bierman. She is survived by her children, Joyce (Paul) Butsch, Edward (Joan) Scott, Cathy (Robert) Price and Cynthia Tischner; step daughter, Beverly (Robert) Schappell; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Sunday December 28,  2014 with funeral service following at 5:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY, Monday at 10:00 AM. 

Margaret McGinnis

Margaret McGinnis, 77, of Wilder, KY, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood. Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Charles Clark. She is survived by a daughter, Laura McIntosh; four grandchildren, Eugene Roenker, Tara Humpries, Robert McIntosh and Charles Clark and two great grandchildren; brother, Edgar McClanahan. Services were at the convenience of the family. Interment was in the Alexandria Cemetery, Alexandria, KY.

Myrna Baker Hess

Myrna Baker Hess, 72, of Highland Heights, KY, passed away December 12, 2014 at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY. She was a retired secretary of the Internal Revenue Service, Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Edna Kuhl Baker. She is survived by her children, Kevin Hess, Karen Helton and David Hess; siblings, Martha Pelfrey, Carla Steffen and Kenneth Baker;  grandchildren, Nate, Ashley, Sarah, Katie, David, Kylie, Andrew and Seth. Elizabeth "Betty" Seiter, age 87, of California, KY passed away on  December 11, 2014 at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler, KY. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, California, KY and was formerly active with their senior citizens club. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert A. Dawn Marie Adams, 60, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. Dawn worked with Alzheimer patients as a social worker at St. Charles Nursing Home for many years. David and Patty Adams, and Matthew Adams; nephews, Timothy Adams and Jonathan Massey; niece, Rebecca Adams. Ray Kremer

Ray Kremer, 79, of Alexandria, KY passed away Monday, December 8, 2014.  Beloved husband of Josey (Govan) Kremer. Father of Barb (Gary) Workman, Mike (Kathy) Kremer, Joe (Karen) Kremer and Patty (Dan) Ridder. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Ray was a member of St. Mary Parish of Alexandria, KY, St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Brighton Center Seniors Club. He retired from General Electric. He was on the board of directors for N.K.A.D.D. and a volunteer for the Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and Brighton Center. Charles Cantrell

Charles  Cantrell, 88, of Alexandria, KY, passed away on  Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas. Charles was born May 6, 1926 in Elkhorn City, KY, he was the son of the Late George W. and the Late Bessie Swiney Cantrell.  He was a WWII Army veteran and retired owner of  C&C Machine and Tool of Covington, KY. A member of Alexandria United Methodist Church and also Saint Luke Lutheran Church of Cold Spring. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Bethel Cantrell. He is survived by his son, Sam Cantrell and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2014, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Alexandria United Methodist Church, Alexandria, KY with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Roberta Jane Warner

Roberta Jane Warner, 70, of Butler, KY, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at her home. She was a bus driver for Campbell County Schools. Roberta was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles W. Smithson and Lindell Warner. She is survived by her children, Bobby (Tina) Hughes, Barry Hughes, Sherry (Marshall) Gray, Windel Hughes, Teresa (Keith Kitts) Gibson and Bryan (Erica) Gibson; siblings, Kenneth Ashcraft, Walter Ashcraft, Jed Ashcraft, Harvey Newland, Steven Newland and Rosella Ashcraft; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Robert E. Creager

Robert E. Creager, age 81, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Mountain Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cincinnati, OH. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and a retired X Ray engineer for St. Elizabeth. Mr. Creager is survived by his wife, Grace Creager; sons, Louis and Robert (Sarah) Creager; daughters, Amy (Brian) Cooper, Susan and Jenni Whittle; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 11am to 12pm with the Funeral Service immediately following at the Vine Street Hill Cemetery Chapel, 3701 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45220. Johnny W. Wagner, Sr., age 72, of Butler, KY passed away at his residence on Friday, December 5, 2014.
