G. Fuller. 66, of Butler, KY, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at home. Tony
was a retired auto body repairman. He is survived by his wife, Dana Fuller;
sons. Adam (Cori) Fuller, Nick Fuller, Jesse (Danielle) Fuller and Billy
Fuller; 3 brothers, Tim, Terry and Tom Fuller; 7 grandchildren, Chris, Tristan,
Josiah, Lydia, Blake, Kendall and Brycen. Visitation will be at the Alexandria
Funeral Home from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015 with funeral service
following.

Mary Elizabeth "Dolly" Griffin
Mary Elizabeth “Dolly” Griffin (nee Brown) passed away peacefully at home on May
23rd. Born September 7th ,
1928 in Oak Park, IL to Florence (Gross ) and Gilbert Brown. Happily married to the late Allen L. Griffin,
Jr. for 55 years. Devoted Mother to five
children: Marianne (Mark) Schmitt of Kernersville, NC; Laura (Kenneth) Ardry of
Santa Barbara, CA; Douglas (Nancy) Griffin of Harrison, OH; Robert Griffin of
Washington Court House, OH; and Jane Griffin Poynter of Newport, KY. Loving Grandmother of Timothy (deceased) and
Stephen Brockhoff; Caroline and Suzanne Schmitt; Allison and James Poynter;
Rebecca Girmann, Eric Reckers, Samantha Griffin; Meghan, Alexah and Landon
Griffin. Great Grandmother of Billie
Jean Girmann , Charlie Girmann, and Ariana
Reckers. Dear cousin to Claire Armstrong
of NJ, dear sister-in-law of Carolyn Brown of NY. Mary was raised in Bellmore, NY and lived in
Wantagh, NY until moving to Cincinnati in the 1970’s and then to Alexandria, KY
where she and Al built their home and lived for over 30 years. Faithful Parishioner of St. Mary of the
Assumption Catholic Parish in Alexandria.
Retired from Cincinnati Country Day School where she was assistant to
the Head Master of the Middle School. Visitation
on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, with Mass of
Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Alexandria,
KY. Alexandria Funeral Home serving the
family. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice or to St. Mary of
the Assumption Catholic Church.

Jack K. Ziegler, age 76, of Melbourne, KY passed away
Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, KY. He was a retired lineman for Cincinnati Bell.
Jack is survived by his wife, Joyce Ziegler; son, Bob (Teri) Ziegler; daughter, Lisa (Jim) Masters; brother, Joe Ziegler; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2015
from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following at
the Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Alexandria Cemetery.

Jimmy "Mike" Riley
Jimmy “Mike” Riley, 60, of Silver Grove, KY, passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was a heavy equipment operator for Sheehan Pipeline Company. Mike was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #18, St. Philip Parish and St. Vincent de Paul Society. "A loving, caring husband, father, papaw, brother, uncle, and friend. My buddy, best friend, a simple man-hey that was him. His beautiful smile would light up a room, his eyes so kind, his love so true. No doubt about it he loved with all he had and he knows he was blessed with an amazing Riley clan." Mike is survived by his wife, Karen (McNamara) Riley; children, Chris (Michelle) Riley, Jamie Riley and Lindsey (Chris) Florea; two brothers, Cecil Smith and David Riley; 7 grandchildren. George "Bill" Murray
George William “Bill” Murray, age 74, of Alexandria,
KY passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at his residence. He was an Army Veteran
and worked for the CSX Railroad as a railroad clerk for 42yrs. He was also a
member of St. Mary Parish, Alexandria. Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara
Loechle Murray; daughters, Tina (Sean) Geiman, Jennifer (Steve) Hill, Teri
(Paul) Kirshbom and Kathleen (Darrel) Wright; sons, James “Jim” Murray and John
Murray; sister, Gail Darpel; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on
Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Mary Parish, Alexandria, KY. In lieu of flowers

Merrill D. Hart
Merrill D. Hart passed away suddenly at his home in
Alexandria, Kentucky on May 15, 2015.
Merrill was born July 12, 1941 in Bath County, Kentucky to Jesse A. Hart
and Thelma L. Wood Hart. He is preceded
in death by both parents and his brother, Alvin Hart. He was beloved by his wife of almost 50 years,
Elaine J. Slayback Hart; daughter, Cindy (Jim) Maren; son, Dan (Molly) Hart; grandchildren,
Zachary Hart, Anna Maren, Alaina Hart and Cate Maren; step-grandchildren, Jude and Seth Bertinato; 5 sisters, Delores
(William) McLaurine, twin sister Bonnie (Paul) Robinson, Joyce Reynolds, Tish
(Roy) Dorsey, and Sherry (Bill) Murray; also survived by many nieces, nephews,
and friends. Merrill was the owner of
Hart Plumbing Company for over 30 years and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist
Church. He enjoyed working, watching
Westerns, talking to people, making candy, and spending time with his
family. His family will treasure their
memories of him, especially his Big Heart, steadfastness and sense of humor. Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, May 21,
2015 at the Alexandria Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Friday, May 22, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Pleasant
Ridge Baptist Church, 11212 Lees Road, Alexandria, KY 41001. Burial to follow

Dorothea “Dottie”
Thomas (nee Combs), 78, of Ft. Thomas, KY, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at
the Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Ft. Thomas. Dottie was preceded in death by
her husband, Chelcie Thomas in 2013. She is survived by her children Patti (Sam)
Swope, Chelcie (Karen) Thomas and Anthony (Kim) Thomas; siblings, Hayden Combs,
Margie Pangburn, Jerry Combs and Judy Davis; 9 grandchildren and 8
great-grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time
of service at 1:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY. Interment
will be in the Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American

Verla
Sayers (nee Smiley) born July 7, 1941 of Silver Grove, KY departed this life on
Friday, May 8, 2015 surrounded by her immediate family. She was preceded in
death by her husband, David J. Sayers; daughter, Robin Loos; parents, Amanda
(nee Glover) and James Smiley; sisters, Scharline Valentine, Estelene Lovins,
Janie Estes, Jean Robertson and Gloria Salyer.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Shelton and son, David A.
Sayers both of Alexandria, KY; grandchildren, Christopher Pollitt, Cody Loos,
Skylar Sayers and Justin Henry; sisters, Betty Norton and Sue Messer; numerous
nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from
11:00am to 1:00pm with Funeral Services immediately following at the Alexandria
Funeral Home, 325 Washington St., Alexandria, KY 41001. Burial will be in the
Alexandria Cemetery.

David A. Hill, 65, of Falmouth, KY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Dave was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church, life member of NRA and past president of Kincaid Longspurs (NWTF). He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Hill. Dave is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna (Kramer) Hill; son, Scott (Stacy) Hill; grandchildren, Mikinzi, Megan and Michael; brother, Stan (Bev) Hill; nephew, Robert (Bert) Hill; another son, Troy (Sue) Hill; granddaughters, Heather and Jasmine. Memorial visitation 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, KY.
