Kristina Ann
Johnson went home to Jesus on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Her final days were
spent surrounded by family and friends that Kristina had touched in some way throughout
her very memorable life. Kristina’s life would seem to short to many, but those
who were touched by her understood that the quality of her life far exceeded
the quantity of time. Although her words were limited, they could melt the
hearts of those around her, and her voice and thoughts could always be heard.
Kristina’s perseverance and faith gave her the ability to overcome incredible
challenges. With her courage, she led us to believe that each day is a blessing
and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She enjoyed school, swimming for
the Special Olympics, and texting her sisters and friends. She spent the
summers camping with her family, where she loved to fish, ride her bike, and
enjoy campfires at night. Although we will miss her every day, she will forever
remain in our hearts. Kristina is survived by her loving parents, Greg and
Janet Johnson; sisters, Sara Johnson and Erica Johnson; sister and Godmother,
Holly Phelps and her husband, Todd and daughters, Brooklynn and Bailee;
grandparents, Jim and Eileen Woeste and Rita Anderson; and Godparents, Charley
and Gayle Johnson. Visitation 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2013 at

I remember little Christina from Reiley Elem. She was always trying to teach me how to sign words correctly. She had a bright smile and many of the children loved her. God is watching over her and thoughts and prayers are with her family.
