Matt H. Franck


Matt H. Franck, 80, of Mentor, KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, after a long battle with heart disease. Matt was an active member & deacon of the Mentor Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a retired real estate broker, President of the Grandview Cemetery Board, Past President of Campbell County Band Parents Association, Past President of Campbell County Athletic Boosters, Past President of Campbell County Board of Realtors, Past Chairman of the Board of Holly Hill Children’s Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Geneva Franck. Matt is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Dicken Franck; a son, Matthew (Margaret) Franck; a daughter, Marigen (Bob) Franck Johnson; Matt was very proud of and loved his four grandchildren, Jacob and Mason Franck and Abbey and Quinn Johnson; he is also survived by his brother, Glenn Franck. Visitation will be held at Mentor Baptist Church from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2013. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday, April 8, 2013, at the church. Interment Grandview Cemetery Mentor KY.  Memorials may be made to Mentor Baptist Church 3724 Smith Road, Mentor, KY 41007. Alexandria Funeral Home serving the family.

    Shirley, Marigen, Matthew, and Family, We love you all and send you our deepest sympathy . Our memories go way back.....and we will always cherish the love and support we have shared over the years. We will always remember when Matt would take those little hands of his grandchildren and cross the road to "THE STORE" after church. He was so proud of his family.
