Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Fox family. We feel very blesed to have had Donnie as a nephew. He was one of our American Heroes who served in Iraq. It was a pleasure to have watched him grow up to be a wonderful young man. He will be sadly missed and always remembered. Love always and forever Uncle Jack and Aunt Janet.
ReplyDeleteTo our youngest grandson-Goody's namesake. He was such a wounderful grandson and such a hero. My prayers are with all the family at this time. Loving Grandma
ReplyDeleteDear Fox family,
ReplyDeleteDonald was not only my roommate but my best friend. It was an honor to have served overseas with him. He was a better Medic than I ever could be. I never told him that. He was respected by all that knew him. It goes without saying that I would of taken his place if I could. He had so much more to offer than I ever will. His relationship with family is unmatched. He always talked about his father and how much he looked up to him. His love for his father was unparalleled. Donnie you will never be forgotten. I love and miss you brother!
We send our deepest sympathy to your family. We watched your family grow at Gloria Dei and know how much Donnie will be missed. Our prayers will be with your family during this time of loss.

Donny-Don Don-Lil D-Dizzle-D,
ReplyDeleteI miss you so much lil brother. You were such a good person there isnt anything you wouldn't do for someone. You were the life of the party and you kept the laughter going, always. You treated the whole family to that trip in destin which was an amazing time. I wish we could have done it again. I just cant help but feel like our time with you was cut short. I want you back!!! You loved Wii bowling and got that pro ball u wanted so badly. You were definitely one of a kind. I know you're in heaven now and finally at peace. Not having to deal with all the stresses that i know you did. I will miss you for the rest of my life until we get to meet again. I love you lil bigger brother!! To the family and everyone who loved Donny, keep your heads up and just remember all the good times you had with D and i bet you will end up with a smile on your face. Much love and respect.

I had the honor of meeting Donny during the winter holidays. Such a polite and handsome young man. May God bless and touch the hurting hearts of his family and friends and keep each one of you wraped in His love. May you always remember the good times you had with him and May Donny Rest In Peace..

Donny,
ReplyDeleteI'm still hurting and struggling with the reality that you are gone. I miss you so much. The memories of years gone by are all that we have left to cherish and remember our baby brother. We recently watched some of the home videos of our family just to feel close to you again. It brought back delightful and happy feelings but at the same time it caused hurt. There should have been more memories to etch. You had come so far, overcome so much in such a short time. I was so proud to see you become a medic. I was always proud of you and always will be. We all wish we could have done more. I know you are with God and that we have a guardian Angel protecting us and carrying us. Your family loves you and misses you. We will get through this. We will remember you always and talk of you often. I look back at the time we all had together and know we were lucky to have had the time we did. Yes, it was cut short. But I find relief in knowing one thing. There are no regrets. We loved you and you loved us. We will all be reunited again, in Godspeed. I could go on and on. I love you (we love you) Donny.
Your O.B. Fred
Donny,
ReplyDeleteI miss you so much bro. There hasn't been a day that has gone by that I haven't thought about you. I know that you're loving it up there and looking down and watching over us all. We started to become pretty close and hanging out more and i'm glad because you were so fun to hang out with. You were always in a good mood and made everything so much better than it actually was. I'm so glad that I got to meet you and grew up with your family. Just watch over us all Donny which I already know you are. We will all be together again. I can't wait. Love ya brother.
Zach
Donny,
ReplyDeleteIt's been a little over two months since you left us. We miss you and talk of you daily. Pray for us and especially for those who are still struggling with your death. I know you would not want any of us to be sad or unhappy. I still have my moments of despair but I know you are still with me and praying for me and looking over me. We have split up some of your belongings between us. I feel like it keeps you closer. It's weird Donny. I started asking you to pray for me in a couple of areas and immediatley they were answered. It just reinforces my belief that you are up there supporting us. Like I said earlier, pray for those who are still really struggling with your death and that they find peace of mind in knowing you are with God and that we will all meet again. Lots of things evoke memories of you-music, clothes, smells, actions etc. and I can't help but think about you and how bad it sucks you are not here with us. Twenty seven years old. The youngest out of our family. I never dreamed you would be the first to pass. I'm sorry for what I didn't do or should have done. I wish I would have been more supportive and encouraged you to share your emotions more. Keep smiling down on us Donny, we need it. Tell everyone hi. Love you and miss you so much.
Love your O.B. Fred
Lil Don,
ReplyDeleteWith Dad now. I know he missed you so much and I know he never fully recovered from your untimely death. Give him a hug and a kiss from all of us. We miss you both so much. We celebrated your Birthday yesterday. Keep praying for us and watching over us. We love you guys so much and miss you.
Love your O.B. Fred
Lil Don,
