Bud Scudder
Bud Scudder of California, KY., passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at University Hospital. He was born to Russell & Marie (Kern) Scudder in Cincinnati, OH. The oldest of nine children. He was an avid lover of Model A & Model T Ford Cars & antique John Deere tractors. He was founder of the Noken T Model T Club & a member of numerous antique car clubs. Bud enjoyed being a D J playing ole time Bluegrass & Gospel music for WOBO. He retired from Fischer's Special Manufacturing after 28 yrs. of service. He is survived by his wife Ginny; son Rick; daughters Vikki Rawe & Tina Vineyard; 9 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren; 7 brothers and 1 sister: Jim, George, Tom, Ron, Sandy, Jackie, Billy & the late Danny Scudder. Visitation 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday, March 27, 2011 with funeral services following at the Alexandria Funeral Home 325 Washington St. Alexandria, KY. The family request that any flower donations be made in the form of bulbs or perennials so they can be planted on his grave. Elizabeth Ervin, age 91, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at her residence in Alexandria, KY.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Floyd, Son Roy, and Brother John. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Pfeffer; Sister, Nancy Hallman; Two Brothers: James and Donald Russell; Three Grand Children and Six Great-Grand Children. There will be a graveside service at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY on Thursday, March 24th at 10:00. Walter Irvin Hildebrand, age 87, of Alexandria, KY, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, KY. He served his country during the World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 3205, Knights of Columbus. Walter was also a 50 year member of Carpenders Local 698.
