Douglas Lee Wilson Sr., 73, of Alexandria, KY., died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood, KY. He was a retired plumber with Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Local Union # 392 Cincinnati, OH. He was a charter member of the life squad for Southgate Volunteer Fire Department; Knight of Columbus Father DeJaco Council # 5220 Alexandria, KY; Super Seniors & Catholic Order of Foresters. Survived by his wife Lois Ann Wilson (nee Twehues) 2 daughters, Kim (Ray) Holthaus & Lisa (Mike) Burden. 2 sons Douglas (Susan) Wilson Jr. & Marc (Paige) Wilson. 1 sister Joyce Gumby. 1 brother Jerry Wilson. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Visitation 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Saint Mary Catholic Church Alexandria, KY. with Mass following at 11:00 AM at the church. To the family and friends of Mr. Wilson, I am deeply saddened by your loss of such a sweet husband, father, brother, grandfather etc... I only got to know him just a short time while having the privaledge of assisting him while in the hospital but that short time has forever left a place in my heart. I would love to pay my respect to him at the viewing but unfortunately am unable as i have to work, but please know i will be there in thought.
