Robert J. Steelman, 86, of Alexandria, KY. , died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at home. He was a retired superintendent for Fischer Special Manufacturing Company Cold Spring, KY. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of Campbell County VFW Post #3205 & American Legion Post #219, Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ all of Alexandria, KY., Mayo Lodge #219 F.& A.M. Silver Grove, KY. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Joan (Neiser) Steelman; 2 sons, James Steelman of Dry Ridge, KY. & Jeffrey Steelman of Melbourne, KY; 1 brother Lowell Steelman of Alexandria, KY. ; 9 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Visitation 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday, August 8, 2011 with funeral services at 12:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home Alexandria, KY. Entombment Evergreen Mausoleum Southgate, KY.
