Mr. Burchfield was a WWII Navy Veteran, retired employee of 37 years at Interlake Steel Wilder, KY. & a member of F.O.P. Lodge Silver Grove, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Spencer Burchfield & his oldest son William Edward Burchfield Jr. Survived by 3 daughters, Jacqueline Riehle of Melbourne, KY., Janet Holtz of Clarksville, OH., Gwendola Smith of Amelia, OH. 3 sons, Ronald Burchfield of Silver Grove, KY., Roy Burchfield of Covington, KY & Charles Burchfield of Wilmington, OH. 1 brother, Charles Burchfield of Dayton, KY. Also survived by 17 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2011 with funeral service starting 12:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home Alexandria, KY.
