John S. Popp, age 68, of Hebron, KY, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at his home. He was a retired Union Committee Man at General Motors Norwood, OH. He was preceded in death by his father Samuel J. Popp and a brother Jaysee Popp. He is survived by his mother, Tinnie Popp; one daughter, Cheri Garman; one son, Sam (Tammy Simpson) Popp; One Sister, Julia (Tim) Nolan; one sister-in-law Patti Popp. Six Grandchildren, T J, John & James Popp, Jamie, Kristy & Brittany Cryer. Visitation 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 with funeral service at 4:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Memorials to Hospice of the Bluegrass 7388 Turfway Rd. Florence, KY 41042
I am greatly saddened to hear of Johns death. He was a good and trusted friend for may years. My condolences to Tinnie, and the rest of the family. You all will be in our prayers.

I am so sorry about John. He was a good friend. We had lots of fun The time we had with him. He was the first friend we met we we move to Hebron. Our prayers are with the family. He might be gone from this world, but he will not be gone from our hearts.May god go with you and family.
