James "Jim" Hartig
James
“Jim” Allen Hartig, age 51, of California, KY passed away suddenly on Saturday,
April 25, 2015. Jim worked as a truck driver for Kemper Trucking and had
previously served in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo
Hartig in 2010. Jim is survived by his mother, Carol Hartig; two sons, Dustin
and Jacob Hartig; companion, Sheri Parks; brothers, Steve and Tom Hartig;
sisters, Sharon Melville and Diana Gruner; grandson, Bryson Mocahbee. Jim also
leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at
4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Philip Church, 1400 Mary Ingles Hwy. Melbourne,
KY 41059. A reception will follow at the St. Philip Parish Center from 5pm to
8pm. Memorial donations are suggested to the James Hartig Memorial Fund, C/O
PNC Bank. Alexandria Funeral Home is serving the family.

Edward James "Jim" McDermott
Alexandria, KY:
Edward James “Jim” McDermott passed away peacefully April 16, 2015 at
home surrounded by family and friends.
Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was born May 3rd, 1934 in Chillicothe, Ohio and attended
Chillicothe High School where he was an accomplished athlete assisting the
Chillicothe Cavalier football and basketball teams to many victories and
championship titles. In football he was
named All State, Central Ohio League. In
basketball he was a member of the 1951 undefeated CHAMPS. While pursuing his BA at Xavier University
and sidelined by a football injury, he joined the theatre group where he
appeared in many productions including a starring role in The Man Who Came to
Dinner. At 65, Jim retired from 32 Ford
as the government sales manager.
Jim spent many happy retirement years enjoying time with his
wife and four grandchildren. He was a
member of St. Joseph Parish as well as a proud and active member of the
Chillicothe High School Alumnae Association.
He enjoyed many years and friendships as a member of Sunlite Pool where
he could do it all; swim, swim lessons for grandkids and enjoy the latest
bestseller.
Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife Patricia
McDermott, his daughters, Kathleen McDermott, Maureen (John) Fisher, Colleen
(Arnaldo) Martinez and grandchildren, Patricia Martinez, Adrian Martinez of
Alexandria, KY, Mary Loretta “Lily” Fisher and John Patrick Fisher of
Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also survived by
his brother Thomas (Mary) McDermott, Nicholasville, KY and sister Margaret Anne
Allison, St. Petersburg, FL, and nine nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Edward James
McDermott, Sr. Newport, KY, his mother Mary Loretta Dean, Chillicothe, OH, his
Uncle James Dooley Chillicothe, OH, and his brother Terrence Leo McDermott of
Austin, TX.
Visitation is scheduled Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 from 10:00
a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring,
Kentucky 41076 with the funeral mass to
follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Elizabeth
Healthcare Hospice, I Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, Kentucky, 41017 or any
other charity of your choice.

Neace (nee Deaton), 86, formerly of Alexandria, KY, passed away Monday, April
13, 2015 at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler, KY. She was a retired bus
monitor for Campbell County Schools. Juanita was preceded in death by her
husband, Estill Neace and a son, Daryl Neace. She is survived by two sons, Butch
(Denna) Neace and Roger (Ruth) Neace; one sister, Helen Trutschell; 5
grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday, April 16, 2015

at Carmel Manor Nursing Home, Fort Thomas, KY. Barbara was a retired employee
of Disabled American Veterans, Cold Spring, KY. She was preceded in death by
her husband, William T. Moore and a daughter, Patti Sexton. She is survived by
her children, William (Tina) Moore, Randy (Rhonda) Moore, Pamela Sue (Bob)
Kinlaw and Penney Moore: siblings, Dorothy John, Brenda Loebrich, Shirley
Hudson, Ronnie Helton and Rodney Helton. Visitation 10:00 AM until time of service

Miller, 88, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Heritage
Spring of West Chester, OH. Henry was retired and a former employee of Disabled
American Veterans, General Cable, and Walmart. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He
was a charter member and trustee of Fairlane Baptist Church, Alexandria, KY.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Harrison Miller; parents, John
and Amelia Miller; siblings, Freda James, Anna Miller, Catherine Miller, Alma
Miller, Louise Weinel, Amelia Brickler, Norma Miller, Calvin Miller, Mathias
Miller, John Miller, Theodore Miller, and an unnamed infant brother. He is
survived by his children, Allan (Barbara) Miller, William (Carolyn) Miller,
Shirley (Dennis) Seever, Nancy DeMoss (Dave Yetter), and Dennis Miller (Gale
Miller); sister, Loretta Ritter; 10 grandchildren, Malinda (Tim) Broughton,
Keith (Patricia) Miller, Jennifer (Jason) Johnson, Major Darrin S. (Emily) Miller
U.S.A.F., Jeremy (Amanda) Miller, Melanie (Richie) Hyden, Alexander Miller,
