Hulley (nee Stull), 82, of California, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St.
Elizabeth Fort Thomas. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Jack”
Hulley; parents, James F. and Hazel Stull and a daughter, Marilyn Wade. She is
survived by her children, Ruth Ann Payne, Henry Leroy (Peggy) Hulley, Louis
Hulley, Chester L. (Pam) Hulley, Jack Andrew (Ruth) Hulley, Debby Walthers, Edna
(Lee Roy) Hancock, Diane (Mike) Shay and Jan Hulley; siblings, Edith Earles,
Jenny Sandfoss, Charlotte Jones, Mildred Schack, Ruth Skaggs, Ethel Carroll,
Sonny, Bill, Henry, and Charlie Stull. 21 grandchildren and numerous great
grandchildren. Visitation 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at the
Alexandria Funeral Home. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the
funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery, Carthage, KY.

David Lee Schnitzler
David Lee Schnitzler, age 82, of Covington, KY passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Ft. Thomas, KY, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 15, 1934 to the late William and Addie Cheeseman Schnitzler of Mentor, KY. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY. He was a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, class of 1979. He was an ordained Baptist minister and pastored and served in missions in Southeastern KY. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, James, John, Earl, Charles, Ernest, Oliver, and Cecil Schnitzler; sisters, Catherine Ruth West, Freda May Follmer, and Betty Jean Williams. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Jean Roseberry Schnitzler; daughter, Betty Lee (Terry) Bradley of Pineville, KY; sons, Dwight (Ann) Schnitzler of Falmouth, KY, Todd Schnitzler of Alexandria, KY, and Rob (Becky) Schnitzler of California, KY; brothers, Gail and Norman Schnitzler; sisters, Martha Paynter and JoAnn Keeler; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Erik, Austin, Tyler, Thomas, Rebekah, February, Kember, Karessa, and Bianca; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY on Friday, June 2nd at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Peach Grove Cemetery, Butler, KY. Bradley, 68, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St.
Elizabeth Edgewood. Jim worked for Pike 27 Auto Parts for 40 years. He served
in the Army. Jim was a motorsports enthusiast and loved UK basketball. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Bradley Sr. and Laelia Bradley-Young;
brother, Bill Bradley Jr. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 45
years, Sue (Futscher) Bradley; brother, David (the Late Kilby) Bradley.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home
from 11:00 Am until time of Service at 2:00 PM. Interment with Military Honors

Bray, 88, of Grant’s Lick, KY, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at home. Wilson
was a farmer and a truck driver for Castellini. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Grayson and Frances (nee Smith) Bray and two sisters, Beulah Rose and
Evelyn Poe. Wilson is survived by his wife, Shirley Bray (nee Hafer); five
children, Brenda Witham, Karen (Mark) Birdseye, Randy (Debbie) Bray, Allen
(Denise) Bray and Andy (Katrina) Bray; siblings, Maurice Bray and Norma Foster;
eight grandchildren, Scotty Witham, Tyler Sparks, Jonathan Bowles, Sarah
Overley, Chelsea Rath, Brandi Bray, Matthew Bray and Nora Bray; six great
grandchildren, Gavin Witham, Drew Sparks, Parker Bowles, Lilly Witham, Kori
Overly and Kenzie Sparks. Visitation Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Grant’s Lick

Arnold Stewart
Arnold Stewart, 89, of Wilder, KY, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. Arnold was a retired boiler house engineer for Interlake Steel. He also was the owner of the New Brass Key formerly in Alexandria, KY and a Pinkerton Guard for 22 years. Arnold was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Coffey Stewart and a second wife Carolyn Hopper; his parents, Reverend Taulby and Allie Smith Stewart. The Late Reverend Taulby Stewart served as the minister of the Park Hills Pentecostal Church in Corbin, KY for 42 years. Arnold is survived by his children, Ed Stewart, Larry Stewart and Shirley (Bruce) Siry; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St, Alexandria, KY. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. John “Jack”
Carter, 77, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St.
Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY. Jack was retired and previously worked for
BASF and PMC chemical companies. He was a member of the United States Air Force
during the Cuban Crisis and a member of the Silver Grove Christian Church. He
was preceded in death by his parent Cleve and Anna (nee Emmett) Carter; his
first wife, Shirley Erskine; step son, Robert Erskine; step daughter, Sandra
Newberry; brother, Tom Carter and an uncle, Jack Carter. Jack is survived by
his wife, Donna Carter (nee Casson); two sons, Bradley (Laura) Carter and
Lonnie (Judy) Carter; step daughter, Glenda Schadler; two step sons, David
Braun and Daniel (Kendra) Braun; sister, Virginia (late Charles) Hines; nine
grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the
Alexandria Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.

Thornton (nee Ernspiger), age 63, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Saturday,
May 20, 2017 at her residence. Jill was preceded in death by her son, Patrick
Simminger in 2011. She is survived by
her husband of 30yrs, Jake Thornton; daughter, Kelly (Bradley) Henson (nee
Thornton); sisters, Lindy (Mike) Kroell and Nancy (Gen) Allen. Visitation will
be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 10am to
12pm with the Funeral Service immediately following at 12pm. Interment will be
in the Alexandria Cemetery. Jill’s family would like to express their gratitude
for the care provided by Drs. Daniel and Doug Flora and the staff at St.

Wilbert J. “Bud”
Enzweiler, 86, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St.
Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood. Bud was a retired banker. He worked for Newport
National Bank, Star Bank and USBANK. He
was a lifelong member of Catholic Order of Foresters and the American Legion. Bud
was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie (nee Schreiber) Enzweiler
and a brother, Frank Enzweiler. He is survived by his wife, Agnes C. Enzweiler
(nee Schutte); 4 children, Patty Antony, Gary (Carol) Enzweiler, Tim (Vicky)
Enzweiler and Marilyn (Sam) DeWalt; 3 brothers, Ervin (Jane) Enzweiler, Vernon
(Jean) Enzweiler and Mike (Amy) Enzweiler; 11 grandchildren and 8 ½ great-grandchildren.
