Look around at what George left the Shanks family, as well as others, and find only unrivaled beauty and positivity. Let that be what leads us into the future, as we inheret what he has left us with.
ReplyDeleteKnow of our prayers in this time of loss. George was one of the best leaders that i have had the blessing of working with in Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief. I always knew the work would be done with excellence when George led ateam, and he always left those to whom he ministered better than he found them. I counted him as a friend and Brother in Christ. Praying that God covers you with grace until we see our Dear Brother again around God's throne. George will be missed by those who had the privilege of being counted among his friends.
