Thomas William Wendling Jr., age 83, of Cold Spring, KY passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. Tom served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, KY. He actively volunteered putting up crosses for the Right To Life organization. He was also a volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen C. Wendling (nee Nehus); children, Mike (Trisha) Wendling, Connie (Tony) Anderson and Karen (John) Steffen; brother, Donald (Jeannine, deceased) Wendling; 8 grandchildren, Jared and Abby Anderson, Sydney, Mitchell and Cory Steffen, Allison, Aimee and Anna Wendling. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Frank Bamberger. Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on Monday, July 16th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, KY on Tuesday, July 17th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorial Donations are suggested to: St. Joseph Elevator Fund, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
