James Gregory Blanton “Greg”, 56, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at home surrounded by family and friends. Greg was a Sports Field Manager for Team All Sports. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Spradlin who passed on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He is survived by his spouse, Rick Alford; two children, Christopher R. Alford and Sunny R. (Jason) Mitchell; step-father, Kenneth Spradlin; five grandchildren: Brighton Mitchell, Ava Mitchell, Parker Alford, Hallie Alford, and Liam Alford. A Memorial Visitation for Greg and his Mother, Patricia Spradlin, will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 11:00 AM until time of Memorial Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St, Alexandria, KY 41001. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd, Florence, KY 41042.
