Mildred Young

Mildred Louise Young, age 84, of Highland Heights, KY, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati - East in Anderson Twp. She was a member of Flagg Spring Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband William Young in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Rath; sons, Dan and John Young; brothers, Kenneth and William Walters; 6 grandchildren, Alison, Rachel, Mindy, Courtney, Daniel and Eric; 3 great grandchildren, Veda, Alex and Paige. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Fred Hoskins



Fred Hoskins, 67, of California, KY., died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood. He retired after 25 years with the Andrew Jergens Company Cincinnati, OH. Fred worked in law enforcement for many years as a Campbell County Constable & was currently employed by Kentucky Attorney General’s Office as a Court Bailiff. Fred & his wife Beulah were foster parents for Kentucky for many years. He was a member of Alexandria Masonic Lodge # 152 F.A.M of Alexandria, KY. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Hoskins Sr. & wife Margaret & two brothers Dewey Hoskins Jr. & Roy Hoskins. .He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beulah (Coots) Hoskins; 3 daughters, Beverly Daniels, Sandra Appel & Lee Ann Wathen; 1 sister Dorothy Campbell; 7 brothers, Seldon, Dean, Sonny, Leon, C.B., Dayton & Denver Hoskins. 4 grandchildren, Robin Hoskins, Angela Daniels, Jessica & John Appel. Ralph Jon Parnell Jr.



Ralph Jon Parnell, Jr., 72, of Camp Springs, KY, went Home to be with his Lord on Friday, Dec. 2, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. A graduate of Campbell County High School and UC, he was also a member of the Army Reserves. Ralph was a retired manager from Newport Steel, entrepreneur, and a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Montgomery, OH. Ralph was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, & great grandfather and will be sorely missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Jon Parnell, Sr., and sister, JoAnn Strange. Survived by wife, Fran Parnell; children, Ralph Parnell III, Anita Repasky, Alicia Gambrell, Richard Parnell and Andrea Samuel; mother, Katherine Parnell; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry Parnell and Rusty Parnell; sisters, Judy Strange and Jennifer Moore. Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St., Alexandria, KY on Tues, Dec 6, 2011 from 5PM to 8PM.
